Upcoming posts

In Bits & pieces on October 12, 2005 at 10:39 pm

Since I did not post anything today, up until the present moment, I figured I could shed some light on the upcoming posts to be featured in the box.

We will start with another episode of T Play Box, only this time my Tilly Putty Thought to be presented is inspired by Jameed, a frequent reader of the box, who submitted the participation by email. The post will revolve around two words; midgets and trampoline.
I think I will also re-write my review of The Knights Templar by Sean Martin. I misplaced my previous review and I am less than pleased with that fact. I do not know when I will be able to record my impressions and/or arguments concerning the book.

In addition to that, I will probably post a quote, perhaps even a poem or a literary passage from a favorite book. I might even publish a pictures’ post talking about Samara, Karak. I remember taking a good number of pictures of the village a while back. I should also post something in Arabic, it’s been long enough since my last Arabic post.

I am always trying to recognise what should go where and when. I respect your intelligence and time.

  1. I’m waiting patiently for your new posts

  2. you write like the new delhi times. At least up until the mid 90s I was trying to put my finger on it and i just got it reading yor current post.

  3. You will have them shortly, black cats. Patience is a virtue.

kbt111, do I, now? I can not say I am familiar with the way New Delhi Times writers use words, but this is doubtlessly the first time I receive a comment of the sort.
I did not understand though, what is “it” that you were trying to put your finger on?

  4. it just you’re writing reminded me of something and i couldnt remember what
and then I figured it out
that newspaper in question was famous because it used victorian language coupled with modern english producing, the new delhi times

I used to write like that back in in high school, particularly up until the 10th grade till my history teacher at ABS showed me the new delhi times.
i dont mean to say its necessarily a bad thing just different. Although people often use it as a means of hiding any real weight in their arguments.

  5. kbt111, that’s actually a bit odd. I used to write like you do now, last year. But my readings of literature finally caught up with me,or I with them, I do not know which, and I began to reflect what I read in what I write. I must announce that I am so satisfied with this style. As a matter of fact, I am so enveloped in it that I only liberate myself in T Play Box, to some extent.

In any case, The New Delhi Times writers will be less than pleased with your comment on how “people often use it (that way of writing) as a means of hiding any real weight in their arguments”.
