The problem is that people usually associate the two words "nose ring" with the word "tarty". Not very sure why that is. I must say body art is living a renaissance in Jordan,so to say, I see many young people obtaining piercings in areas other than the traditional ear lobe. I think that is pleasant, but I wrote previously about the fact that no professional piercing studios exist in Amman. That is a very serious matter, it is not so much to cater for "twisted" tastes than to maintain hygiene.
