Quoting W. Somerset Maugham on character

In Quoting on December 17, 2005 at 1:42 pm

Sometimes people carry to such perfection the mask they have assumed that in due course they actually become the person they seem.

- W. Somerset Maugham

  1. In psycology, a person is not only defined by who they are, but by at least four of these personalities:
    - Who you are
    - Who you think you are
    - Who you want to be
    - Who you want other people to think you are
(the list sure goes on, but thats part of what i remmember i read)

  2. That is deep, it makes me think of how absurd it is to claim I know myself. I really don’t, and I don’t think anyone knows who he/she is.
