The pay is shit and you are treated like crap by your professors, undergraduate students, administration, etc., but at least you would be reading books you love and getting another degree in a field you are passionate about. Of course every job has its highs and lows. It's not like 'wow' everyday. But if there is now wow at all this is the sign of trouble. Don't listen to anyone telling you the 'real world' is supposed to be boring or mindless.
