Jealosy is okay… as long as you don’t show it and as long as it pushes you to be better, not wish the destruction of others. What is not ok is envy!
They say there are 2 ways in which you can have the highest building in soem area: building your own high building, or destroying all others’ high buildings…

Hello Lizard of Oz, I terribly adore lizards!
How can one not show jealousy? That is a very difficult thing to do.

You’re right, jealousy just shows itself! But sometimes it’s way too obvious!
Glad you like lizards! “si7liyyeh” is more expressive though…

From Jealousy-Fever to Oneness-Heart
Jealousy,
You are my mind’s purity-stealer,
You are my heart’s peace-intruder,
You are my life’s divinity-invader!
Your mind’s jealousy-dagger
Has severely wounde you.
If you want to be healed,
Try to discover as soon as possible
The flames of your aspiration-heart.
You want to conquer
The perpetual fever of jealousy?
I will tell you a great secret:
Just love and become one
With your oneness-heart

Love sees sharply, hatred sees even more sharp, but Jealousy sees the sharpest for it is love and hate at the same time
Now integrating the above equation with the Ericas’ equation yeilds a wonderful result.
It is always sharp to think that others had all the fun :-P
Beware the second derivate of the above result can kinda be bizzare.

That Erica Jong comment is so true.
Hope you’re doing well.
ps. I love the raw energy and cutting observations in your other blog, esp the eating pistachios in the office one. Keep firing on all cylinders ! :)
