Welcome back, Yet Another Circassian. I value your comments and the clarifications.

I did check my sources, they were adiga people who told me those stories. I must say though that I am glad you haven't heard them, I am sure you would be appaled by their content and the affirmed "superiority" they hold. Certainly I did not mean to give a negative image of my uncles, I said this before and I am saying it another time, I intended to pose a problem that I have come in close contact with. To provide evidence of this, although the case calls for none, check out my humble Adiga Xabza series. Should I want to give out a blurred, ugly image of Circassians I would never stress time and again how much in love I am with their culture. It hurts the most when it is those you love who offend you, you see.

At all rates, enjoy your stay in the Box, and I sincerely hope the misunderstandings have been cleared away.

I have just realised that Abu Sinan thinks that I called babies from mixed marriages "ugly"! come on that's insane!!

No i meant that some people have a hard time because they were fed wrong IDEAS (it was NOT about physical appearance sir at all!), and that's why i said the upbringing is to blame.

please read carefully, no wonder i come out as the bad guy

All I know about kids is I would like to have as many as God will give me, as for their dad and his origin that’s Naseeb. I don’t have a recipe for happiness, it’s the couple’s personalities that enrich the relationship and take it to another level. However, some people will want to marry their direct cousins; we can all agree that’s not racist now.

I reread your post Tololy (and thanks for the welcome). Yes indeed you carefully add the word “some” before any kind of generalization. However your post holds some scrutiny (like throwing stories about the Caucasus being God’s mountains “back and forth”! – I found that actually strange since I’ve never heard that before, nor did I hear the story about Hitler, do you check your sources before posting on the internet?). I do not think I overreacted. Your post was insinuative and suggestive of one thing: that we think we’re God’s gift to humanity! I know this is your personal blog and I respect that, but I do think that people reading it will get an altogether wrong idea about Circassians (for instance, already Abu Sinan is waving “pure Aryan” in my face).

The comment "I have seen a lot of people coming from homes where one parent is circassian and the other parent not; it often aint pretty."

It has nothing to do with culture, it is pure racism. Mixed babies, in my opinion, are often the best looking babies. I am "pure Aryan" being German born, ancestry, blond hair, blue eyes, 6'2" tall. My wife is an Arab. Our child, Sinan, is mixed, and I can safely say, Masha'Allah, that he is a beautiful baby.

I hate racism, no matter what guise it comes under. I am also a Muslim and know that people often have to pay in this life as well as the next for the things they say and do. Comments regarding other people's children might come back to haunt this person.

All children are beautiful and to try and claim that some children are better than others, or somehow that "different" blood causes ugly children is insane racism.

Pure Aryan? Try telling that to anyone at a Neo-Nazi rally in Germany, they'll give you a good kicking just as they would any other "non-white." This is just like the Iranians banging on about how "Aryan" they are. Give me a break.

Sorry, but the comment you posted really got me mad. It is nonsense......take that from this real live Aryan, I am a guy who looks like he came straight off a Nazi Party poster and I find the comments made by this person rude, racist and highly offensive.

why do people feel nessary to preserve culture?
I think culturism depreciates individualism, and promotes herd-mentality....
Why do a person need to act similar to his ancestors rather than improvise their own set of values and morals?

Just a thought!!
