Kinzi,

You're welcome. I am definitely the watch/hold the stuff person. I learned the hard way (kinda).

Hey Luai,

Wow, that was an informative comment. Thanks for taking the time to actually type it all in, I appreciate the effort.

Yes, it is a sad fact, but a true one. The demon drop and I was done. I thought I was tough enough but obviously I was not, perhaps it was the heat/humidity, or maybe I am just looking for excuses. Hah. I am very thrilled to tell you that no, the drop did not get stuck while I was trying it. That would've been hellish! I serioualy could've had a stroke had that happened. I couldn't take the seconds they hung us in the air without "visible" support, that was too long!

It makes me feel silly to admit this but the shock I first went through kinda prevented me from trying anything else that is fast or high. I played it safe after that, played for the stuffed animals but won none. The most teasing game was that where the guy/girl guesses your weight. So annoying!

That picture you speak of was taken during that tower ride, I forgot the name of the actual "thing". But it was slow and very, very friendly.

That'One of my favorite summer desitinations...only CP though and nothing else in the state of Ohio....which I really dislike. That could stem from the UofM - OSU football games.

Cedar Point is a little over a 2 hour trip from my house and I barely survive the 1.5 hours on the turnpike...trying to teach Ohians how to drive (that is one of my goals in life).

The Demon Drop and you were done?! Come on!! You should have waited until you rode the other rides that are further inside the park. I am really surprised that ride is still around. It once broke down with us stuck at the top for about 30 minutes. We were moving foward at the top and then ready to be dropped, and the power shut off. Apparently some sensor triggered. It might have been that penny I put on my knee to see free fall along with us that fell. As you were waiting for the ride you may have seen or heard all the loose change that falls out of people's pockets or those who put coins on their knees to watch free fall along with them.

Did you ride the "tame" roller coasters like the Gemini or Blue Streak. Those shouldn't wear out your vocal chords.

Did you play any of the games to try and win those huge stuffed animals?

Looked like a perfect day for being there and remember it could have rained, as it does there alot in the summer. From the space needle ride, you can actually see Canada on the clear days...but I think your picture of the park was taken towards the south-west.

Hi Tololy! Being a Californian, I'm kindof a Disneyland snob, so thanks for the great intro to Midwestern amusement parks I've missed.

After our last trip to Disneyland, and almost throwing up all over my kids on one of those rides, I will be the one watching holding the stuff from now on.

She,

I am a round and round person in this regard. Some really crazy things happen in amusements parks! I do not really know what help they were offering for 5 cents, I actually never noticed that sign until you remarked about it. Talk about being sharp! hehe

Moi,

I would like to meet your mom one day. I have a feeling we would have things in common to talk about :)

Hamede,

Yes the water gig was nice to "watch". I missed out on a lot of good things but I saved my nerves in the process. A choice I do not regret. The fear I was in while being demonically dropped is haunting!

Hello Abu Sinan,

Hmmm...Snoopy in Arabic? I haven't seen that yet but I am not an expert. Maybe a reader has more info on this matter. Oh, and I have a picture of me posing with a real-life-sized snoopy. Sweet!
