Take all the pieces that have similar colours and make different piles then you assemble pieces within the piles ... then you start to combine the piles and the rest will literally "fall into place" (see what I did there?) I used to love doing them with my mom and sisters, but I think the max we ever completed was 500 pieces. Our fam had a tradition of doing a 500 piece puzzle on Christmas Eve (we weren't religious) If I had a spare minute (sigh) I'd be over there in a heartbeat.
