You could always buy them online, painfulpleasures.com have a nice collection and I think buying belly rings online is easier since you know the gauge perfectly well so you should face no problems. The most important thing is to have it real gold (white or yellow) doesn't really matter, but it should never be fake! Fake ones causes infections and pain.
