Thank you for the useful information. We often get customers in our store asking about tatoos and piercings but we don't have any experience in that area We sell more of the traditional religious jewelry so we'll be sure to refer them to your site for more info. Thanks again and good luck.

yup, it was done in Jordan 4 years ago, in top fashion i'm sure u know it! i like it a lot, it's not painful but it gets infected easily! i faced many problems with my belly piercing, went to hospital to make sure that it's ok as i had weird green liquid coming out :S it was disgusting in the beginning, but now i don't even feel that it exists, and nose piercing hurts more! if you're thinking about belly piercing go for it, just pay extra attention after you're done to clean it with alcohol on regular basis...

Dima, the information you just provided me with is priceless! Thank you ever so much for that, I appreciate it. I have seen belly banana bells all around town in regular accessory shops, but they are fake/cheap and I would not dare recommend them to anyone. You could always buy them online, painfulpleasures.com have a nice collection and I think buying belly rings online is easier since you know the gauge perfectly well so you should face no problems. Say, did you get that piercing done in Jordan? Although I doubt it, I have to ask.

Why do you have to buy it online? I got mine from Kazbar, know it? it's a jewlery place here near fifth circle! it's lovely, as i told you i've been wearing the same nose stud for 6 years! Although i get bored from things quickly, i tried to change it by trying out new ones but nothing was as good. Mine has a short straight bar (which is in my opinion better than the long ones and the funny thing it never falls down, im still wondering how)!! :) and it has a sparkling diamond at the end. Ask them for nose studs because they have a collection. Im facing a problem with finding nice belly rings though!? I have more than 10, i've collected them from Amman, the states and Germany. But again ive been wearing one for so long- i got it as a gift from Turkey! Any ideas?

I agree with Dima on the diamond nose stud idea. Unfortunately I can't help you out in where to get one in Amman...
I like nose rings a lot, though I don't have one. I do have a naval/belly button piercing which I got 13 years ago at Uni. Not as many people had them back then. Now it seems that everyone does.
Hope you find the perfect nose ring!
Cheers,
Beti

Hello Dima, welcome to Tololy's Box! 6 years is an amazing period of time, I salute you. I am planning on getting a diamond nose stud but the problem is that I'd have to buy it online, and I am considering the possibilities of its not working out well and my not being able to return it (probably). Any suggestions on where to get a real diamond nose stud in Jordan?

I'm wearing the same nose stud for 6 years now! The most important thing is to have it real gold (white or yellow) doesn't really matter, but it should never be fake! Fake ones causes infections and pain.
A diamond ring would make it even nicer :)

Khalidah, It was January ,7th, 2005. I had to doublecheck.

Luai, I adore eyebrow rings. They're very nice on (some) people. Pain tolerance is relative, some people can take it more than others, some get petrified at the sight of a needle, it's psychological I guess. The operation didn't hurt, it was more of a shock than real pain. But after the local anesthetic died on me there were these waves of pain coming right from the new accessory, they weren't pleasant but I was more worried about what my parents would say than to actually bother with the pangs of pain.

Claire's took the nose screws back, no questions asked. I wasn't so sure they would, but I tried and it worked. I'm a happy customer!

I've always wanted to get my eyebrow pierced...but I think my family would disown me and my job would probably fire me. Maybe I will get it done just for a day or two. No way!

I once saw a reality show where one of the people their eyebrow done. They were almost in tears. A grown tough man, at that. Did it hurt when you got it done? And they allow you to return nose jewelry? Gross. :-)
