Yes, I’ve done this many times. My first thought was "Well done! Let him try but protect him" where so many wouldn’t risk a fall by not allowing an attempt.

Ah.. Kinzi and Salam have approved this, then it must be the right thing to do! You see, he was running funny and quickly and I honestly could not figure out any otherway to keep him from falling.

Ok, and I’m not just saying this because I don’t love kids all that much, but seriously, is it SO WRONG to use a leash with kids?? Really??? Because it just makes SO MUCH SENSE. It works, I mean it.

LoL! I wonder how many times parents have done that to those poor little kids!<br />Hal, no it’s not, we used to have a "child leash" on my sister when we used to travel and she was younger, hehe. Sounds evil, but it’s pretty common here in America. When we arrived at the airport in Jordan, everyone was laughing at us :P

Hal, and moi, we used to use a leash on our kids when traveling too. Can’t risk losing a busy 2 two year old in a busy airport, hatta low what people may say.<br />

This is the hold I use on my son (if he’s wearing overalls, of course) to keep him from running into the street. He still feels like he’s "free", but I know he can’t escape. Have to say, I always thought the leash was a bit cruel until having my own 2 yr-old. We don’t actually have one, but I can certainly understand the need, now.
