We are in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2006. L’italia ha vinto!!!!! Negli ultimi minuti abbiamo vinto e cosi’ finisce una bellissima partita. Dove e’ la germania adesso? Sta piangendo.
All you haters eat your hearts out. Viva Italia, viva azzurri. Who was it again that said we should “expect an early return home”? Germany is out. Brazil is out. Heck even Argentina is out (although I liked their play) but Italy is not. So much for predictions, eh?
I am ecstatic! This is thrilling and I am still wearing my Cannavaro shirt, jumping on the couch and screaming my lungs out. Ah, the beauty of those tanned & talented footballers.
Gli azzurri hanno giocato molto bene mentre i tedeschi dependevano su un tipo di gioco brutale, e l’arbitro non e’ stato tanto imparziale ma ma e’ finita bene ed i migliori hanno vinto la battaglia.
I am happy beyond words- Viva italia. Viva azzurri.

I saw a new Italy tonight … THEY WERE FANTASTIC!

They gave a great game and deserved to win!

I too love Argentina, but now that everyone I love is out… I’m rooting for France …. Zaidane … go kick thier totti

am with holland in this WC … but today i was with ITALY

FORZA ITALY

and hard luck for Germany

If Italia plays Portugal, I don’t know what will happen to my nerves.

Congrats Tololy! :)

Today we weren’t home during the game, and we were looking for a place to eat at around the 93rd minute of the game. We were about to turn around and go back to the car when we agreed to check one more place down the street. We walk in and realize it’s packed because there are big-screen TVs and people are watching the game! Less than 2 minutes later, we watch - live and in full glory - the first Italy goal of the game. The restaurant gets loud and crazy, and as we’re placing our order, Goal Number 2 comes right along and seals the fate of the game. Nice job.

:)

It was a disappointment for sure. Here I was watching in the final minutes asking God to give us a quick one, but there was a disconnect, because I meant a quick one for Germany, not two for Italy.
Viva la dolce vita!
Congrats! It was a great game, well-read by Italy’s coach, Lippi and they deserved to win. Germany should’ve been out since their match with Argentina, who also deserved to win and perhaps, deserved to be the champs. The final match on sunday (duh?) and am really hoping that Italy will win, they have great players (my fave is 3attooozo!) and the best tactics ever according to all football experts.

Viva Italia!!
