		<description>Thanks for the comment Beti. The good thing about belly piercings is that they're done in flesh, which makes the closing-up process slower than cartilage. Yours lasted open (smaller, but still open) for some weeks... I can't imagine that would have happened if your piercing was in another location in cartilage. Well then you would have had to go pierce it all.over.again. Bad.</description>

		<description>I used to wear a belly-button ring (from 1993 to 2006). In the summer of '94 I had come to Slovenia from Montreal to visit my grandmother and other relatives. One day, while using a public restroom the piercing fell off and fell into the toilet... I looked all over town to find a replacement, but unfortunately the piercing trend hadn't really reached Slovenia yet, so I had to wait a few weeks before getting another one. By the time I got a new one, the hole had become so tiny, I was sure I was going to have to get it redone. Well, like you, I persisted...used earrings, gradually stretched it...and though painful, it was as good as new :)</description>
