Turkey Unbans Hijab
How did I miss this earlier today?
Turkey has unbanned veiled women from enrolling in public universities. What a victory for human rights!
I am ecstatic!

It’s about time. Most of My Turkish friends aren’t really happy aeven though they are not the close-minded type.

Abdullah: As far as I know the hijab is only banned in (state) schools in France and not in universities, in Turkey it was banned in universities as well as schools (until this).
