The Charlotte Allen article was disturbing on so many levels that I don’t even know where to begin. Either she’s an idiot to the extreme or she wrote a piece that was intended to be humorous in a tongue-in-cheek manner, and she completely missed her mark. Frankly, though, it doesn’t make a difference. If it’s the former, she’s clearly a woman who has serious confidence and gender issues, and she’s trying to minimize them by making sweeping general statements about all women, statements that are pathetically erroneous. If it’s the latter, she’s clearly not suited to writing humorous pieces.

Reading Allen’s article gave me a headache…
