May be it is the same land some uncle bought for his nephew and charged an arm and a leg in 1985, the nephew had no time to come as he was working his butt out in the Gulf so he trusted the uncle who bought a large lit ,divided between himslf and his children and the nephew, needless to say that the nephew got this slice of a land and needless to say they don't talk ever since.

I see that building almost everyday on my way back from college, I wonder "why?" every time I see it.

I was going to say maybe it's like the flatiron building in Toronto

<a href="http://www3.telus.net/eddyelmer/Arch/flatto.htm" rel="nofollow">http://www3.telus.net/eddyelmer/Arch/flatto.htm</a>

But Ammar beat me to it :D . It just might be the land he bought was shaped like that, I wish if you took a picture from the front so we could see how it expands from the back because the way the picture is taking it looks like the whole building is that thin and it's about to topple down like a badly built Lego building hahahaha

There's a building near 6th Circle that borders the street that is only about 3.5 meters deep. It's just hard to notice because it has a long facade.

U know I live near that building and I have to admit I never looked at it as a strange one perhaps kind of familiarity by seeing it every day! But yea you are totally right Tol, I believe the owner didn’t even bother to try to buy the land-spaces next to that land, he just established the building hoping this will gain him money, without additional cost on him.
